                                                                                                                                             I will explain the procedure of bibimbap for four people. Bibimbap is a Korean trasitional home cooking. It is a colorful dish with vegetables and meat on top of rice. Bibimbap means rice mixed with various ingredients. Bibimbap dates from the 1800s and was then royal dish. As ordinary people began to eat bibimbap, it's spread from royal dish to home cooking. My mother and I like Korean food, so my mother often makes bibimbap for dinner. Also, my mother taught me how to make it. I eat as many ingredients as I like on rice as I likes. I feel happy when I go home after school and have bibibap for dinner.

Ingredients for bibimbap for four people

 

 two bowls of rice

 

two hundred grams of beef

 

two-thirds carrote

 

two-thirds bag bean sprouts

 

one-thirds spinach

 

two-thirds radish

 

four teaspoons sesame oil

 

two tablespoons red papper paste

 

teaspoon salt papper paste

 

fifty grams of chinese cabbage kimchi

 

a few white sasame seeds

 

two tablespoons grilled meat sauce

 

How to make bibimbap

 

 1. First, add the salt in the pot and boil water.

 

 2. Next, when boiling water in the pot, slice the carrot and the radish into 5 centimeters pieces. 


 

 

 

 3. Add the bean sprouts, the carrots and the spinach in the pot boiled with water and boil them. 


 

 

 

 4. Drain the carrots, the radishes, the bean sprouts and the spinach, add them in the bowl,  add the sesame add the sesame oil, the salt and the peppar.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      


 

 

 

 5. Cut the beef into one centimeters. And, fly the beef in the flying pan with the sesame oil over medium heat. When the beef is  cooked, add the sause to the beef.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              


                                                                                                                                                                  

 

 6. Add the sesame oil in the flying pan and the rice to make it scorch.

 

 

 

 7. When the rice gets burnt, turn off the heat and serve it in the bowl. And put the carrots, the radishes, the bean sprouts and the ppinach and the chinese cabbage kimchi on top of the rice. 

 

                                                             


        

 

                                                                                    

 

 

 

 8. Finaly, sprinkle the white sesame seeds all over and  mix with the red pepper paste.                


 

 

 

Bibimbap can change the ingredients on top into different ingredients. For example, You can make healthy bibimbap by adding lettuce and other vegetables, turn beef into minced meat, if you're good at spicy food, you can increase the amount of pepper paste. So, Bibimbap can be arranged in various ways. In Korea, each family has a slightly different way of making bibimbap. Also, bibimbap contains many nutrients, so you can take in many nutrients at once. Try making your own bibimbap.
